There are a few things going on here and they all add up to a magnificent and very unique piece of furniture designed and built by Charlie Newton! A beautifully preserved black gear has been set on a round black base made from layers and layers of soft wood carefully shaped and pressed together to create depth for a large cylinder pattern. That is set on a brown pedestal-shaped pattern to balance the table. A custom piece of glass is fitted neatly on top to create an elegant surface, and allow the gear to be seen through it. Add a couple of comfy chairs and you’ve got a stylish old-world conversation place (and piece!)
