ReFound pieces of the past

Each ReFoundry FOUND is a unique wooden mold or pattern from the Lunenburg Foundry and a work of art in itself. These one-of-a-kind, historical pieces created by skilled pattern-makers have been cleaned and oiled to preserve their original wood patina. Each FOUND piece will be sold with an identification tag that denotes its original purpose (if known) and its new reFoundry name. Hanging hardware will also be provided if required.

ReFoundry’s MADES are a celebration of the lost art of pattern-makers. Each piece is a unique assemblage of many smaller wooden mold/patterns from the Lunenburg Foundry. Talented local artists have created works that accentuate the history and workmanship of the patterns by combining them into stunning pieces, glowing with a preserved patina. Some are functional and some are decorative.

All celebrate a lost art and are rare, hand-crafted, beautiful – and support a contemporary recycling philosophy!
