This beautifully preserved pattern has “L P COLP” and “PLEASANT RIVER” stamped on it. With a long history of gold mining in Pleasant River, it’s very possible this was a pattern for a piece of mining apparatus, but hard to know for sure. One way or another though, it’s a lovely artifact and unique collectors item.
